Dear Kuya Gab and Jaimee,


This one is for Jaimee.  You see, you were my loyal companion in every event that I have had in 2010.  I even asked Dra Julie Woo to have my CS Operation scheduled in December 30 so I'd be able to complete my December events.  But of course, it is GOD who knows the plans for us and you were born on the most special day of all - December 25 evening.  I'm sure you'd ask, why didn't I name you "Jesusa" or "Christmas"? hehehe... Of course not, I want you to have the most special and unique name of all ...  So I named you JAIMEE PRISTINE.
Where did I get Jaimee and Pristine?


This is just our secret okay.  One of my favorite movie is A WALK TO REMEMBER where the name of the main character is Jaimee Sullivan (played by Mandy Moore).  I was actually contemplating with either Jaimee or Jesse but of course JAIMEE won.  I believe that having you is A WALK TO REMEMBER plus the name Jaimee sounds more feminine and classy as compared to Jesse hehehe.  Now, where did I get PRISTINE - well aside from it being the name of one my favorite bride Pristine Benitez-Yorobe, the name PRISTINE sounds precious, classy and smart.  Pristine means "the light from above".


I'm still looking for the baby pictures of Kuya Gab so I can share it to both of you, but let me share Jaimee's first.


That's why Jaimee, my national theme song for you whenever I would send to you sleep is either I DON'T WANT TO MISS A THING or CRY (from the movie A Walk to remember) ...

My Happy Walk

Dear Kuya Gab and Jaimee,


I've decided to make this blog as my personal letter to both of you.  I know deep in my heart you'll grow up to be smart, loving, cheerful, God-fearing and amazing persons - I know that because you are my children and of course I'll do my best to bring out the best in you.


I'm writing this blog at the same time I'm watching a Julia Roberts movie "Eat, Pray and Love" and at the same time mama's also crying (multi-tasking hehehe).  There are many nights for the past few months that mama has been crying and I would always pray for God's grace that when the time comes that you would ask me why was I crying, I would have the courage to tell you so.


Always remember that both of you were born out of LOVE.  Your Papa and I love you so much.  I LOVE BOTH OF YOU SO MUCH.  And when you're old enough, I'm sure the two of you will understand what happened and why it happened. 


We may not have PAPA around this time but definitely you will have ME.  2010 was a difficult time for Papa and I and things drastically changed for both of us but one thing is certain - I STILL HAVE BOTH OF YOU.  


This is my promise I WILL NEVER LEAVE BOTH OF  YOU, I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON BOTH OF YOU, I WILL NEVER QUIT ON BOTH OF YOU, I WILL GROW OLD WITH BOTH OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES, I WOULD LOVE TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIVES WITH BOTH OF YOU ... Kuya Gab and Jaimee, BOTH OF YOU ARE MY HAPPY WALK.

I hope you would enjoy reading this blog. I'm dedicating this to both of you.  I may not be able to document everything but I will do my best.  EVERYDAY is HAPPY WALK with both of you.  And I am always thankful to our Dear Lord that despite all difficulties and challenges in life I STILL HAVE BOTH OF YOU - MY GREATEST BLESSINGS IN LIFE!
